Back in June 2007, My courageous Mum lost her battle against Ovarian Cancer, she battled this diesease every inch of the way, never once did she complain, she was more concerned about how her family would cope without her, and nearly 4 years on, her family are still trying to come to terms with thier loss. In my bid to raise awareness of the "Silent Killer" I sit and think of ways to raise money for the charity that educates and encourages women to look for the signs and to ask thier doctors for a simple blood test, in 2009 I took the decision to have my Ovaries removed after being gene tested and in the higher risk category. My first charity event was organised last Summer, we were going to have a huge Rounders Day, unfortunately due to the weather this had to be postponed, so my next fundraising event is due to be announced on Facebook shortly, in the meantime please feel free to make any donations
